I am currently a senior at the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland. I took my first ceramics class freshman year and found it the perfect way to channel my creative energy. Creating ceramics both inside and outside of class is a wonderful opportunity during the day for me to refocus and relieve stress. When the pandemic struck, my teacher sent me home with a 25 pound block of clay. I returned to working with slabs and coils to continue to create ceramics during remote school. I was delighted to return to the wheel in the Spring of 2021, and I am excited to create new work this year.
